SoftBank Group's Vision Fund led a $535 million Series D round in DoorDash, the San Francisco food delivery company. The round valued DoorDash at about $1.4 billion after the investment.
Why it matters
The funding gave DoorDash the money to compete with larger rivals in US food delivery and made the Vision Fund one of its main shareholders.
