Nihon Kohden agreed to acquire 71.4% of NeuroAdvanced Corp., the parent of Ad-Tech Medical Instrument, for an estimated ¥16 billion. Ad-Tech makes intracranial electrodes used for long-term EEG monitoring, brain mapping and stimulation in epilepsy treatment. Investment firm ARCHIMED kept a minority stake as a partner.
