Kubota Tractor Corp. and Kubota Credit Corp. said they would build a new US headquarters in Grapevine, Texas, for $51 million. The units were to move from Torrance, California. Texas granted $3.8 million from the Texas Enterprise Fund for the project.
Why it matters
The move put Kubota's US sales and finance units in a central location closer to its customers and dealers across the country.
