Catheter maker Create Medic bought all shares of four Globizz group companies: Globizz Corporation and Universal Design Life Corporation in California, plus affiliates in Tokyo and Seoul. The group helps medical device makers file with the US FDA and does market research and strategy work.
Why it matters
A small deal with a common pattern: a Japanese device maker brings US regulatory know-how in-house to speed its own US launches, and gains a consulting business that earns fees from others.
About Globizz
Globizz calls itself one of the first bilingual Japanese-English FDA consulting firms, helping Japanese and American companies bring products, including medical devices, to the US market. In 2025 it signed a partnership with Korea Research, a South Korean market research firm. Create Medic bought the four companies through a share purchase and did not disclose the price.
About Create Medic
Create Medic, listed in Tokyo, makes and sells medical devices, mainly silicone catheters.
