Century Tokyo Leasing raised its stake in CSI Leasing, an IT equipment lessor based in St. Louis, Missouri, from 34.3% to 100%. The cost was about ¥23 billion including fees. It had bought its first stake in March 2015.
Why it matters
Full ownership gives Century Tokyo Leasing control of an established US leasing business after a year as a minority partner.
